About EuRECA and Data Security
Who is the chair person and who is on the committee?
A: The EuRECA steering committee is chaired by Frank Keeley. Committee members include Brunolf Lavergeld, Tommy Neilsen, David Breen, Marco van Strijen, Alexander King, Ole Graumann, Theresa Junker, Des Alcorn, Eric de Kerviler, Tze Wah and Patricia Zondervan.
How can I contact the committee?

Who owns the data?
A: The data is ‘owned’ by the EuRECA steering committee. Access to the data is possible only through requests made to the committee.
What is the level of security?
A: There are no patient identifiable data held by EuRECA. All data is anonymised and encrypted, stored on a secure server.
Participation
How can I participate?
A: Contact the committee by email eureca_assistance@outlook.com to determine if you meet the criteria established by the steering committee.
Where do I get a password to be able to log on?
A: Please send an email to eureca_assistance@outlook.com
Can I download my database directly into EuRECA?
A: No, you will be asked to enter data at the time of the patient’s procedure as part of this prospective registry.
Can I export my own data out of the EuRECA database?
A: Yes, this is possible by request for your own data only.
What is the difference between saving and submitting data?
A: Saving data should be done when you consider it incomplete. Once completed, please submit the data. After that point, the data can no longer be edited.
If I have mistakenly submitted data, how can I delete or alter a patient record or data related to a patient?
A: Once enrolled and saved, the patient’s data can only be deleted or altered after review by the steering committee representative, please email eureca_assistance@outlook.com
I have an idea for a study using EuRECA data. How can I take this further?
A: Proposals for studies can be submitted to the steering committee for consideration by emailing eureca_assistance@outlook.com
I am not part of the EuRECA committee but wish to collaborate, using EuRECA data. Is this possible?
A: Yes, provided the question can be answered using the data collected and you are happy to collaborate with a member of the committee. Please contact us through eureca_assistance@outlook.com to start the discussion.
